General Questions

Innately Yours Chiropractic Studio (IYCS) is a wellness-focused chiropractic office in Colorado Springs that specializes in gentle, neurologically based care for women, families, athletes, and the holistic-minded community. We use NetworkSpinal (Network Spinal Analysis), pregnancy and pediatric chiropractic and other supportive services to help your nervous system function at its best, not just to chase pain.

We’re located at 3510 Galley Road, Suite 102, Colorado Springs, CO 80909, serving Colorado Springs and nearby neighborhoods.

People often find us for:

  • Neck pain, back pain, headaches, and migraines
  • Stress, anxiety, and feeling “stuck” or overwhelmed
  • Poor sleep, low energy, and burnout
  • Prenatal and postpartum discomfort
  • Pediatric concerns such as colic, latch/nursing issues, constipation, sensory/focus challenges, and frequent illnesses
  • Athletic performance, recovery, and injury prevention

Our focus is nervous system function and regulation. When your nervous system is communicating clearly, your body adapts better and many symptoms begin to shift as a result.

A few things set us apart:

  • Gentle, low-force NetworkSpinal care (no twisting, cracking, or popping)
  • Special focus on pregnancy, postpartum, pediatrics, and athletes
  • trauma-informed, judgment-free environment where your story matters
  • community-minded, social impact model including monthly scholarships for those with financial need
  • Additional wellness services like RIFE frequency sessions, infrared sauna, and in-house massage therapy, physical therapy and clinical nutrition to support whole-person healing

We’re here to empower you, not pressure you. Our goal is lasting change, not quick “crack and dash” care.

About NetworkSpinal & Chiropractic

NetworkSpinal is a gentle, research-supported chiropractic approach that uses very light contacts along the spine, often just a few ounces of pressure, to help your nervous system reorganize tension patterns.

Instead of forcing bones to move, we:

  • Work directly with the spinal cord and nervous system
  • Help your body create new, more efficient patterns for handling stress
  • Support long-term improvements in posture, breath, movement, and resilience

Most people are surprised by how light the touch is and how much their body shifts over time.

In most cases with NetworkSpinal, NO. The majority of our care:

  • Does not include traditional high-velocity “cracking”
  • Involves gentle, precise contacts along the spine and sacrum
  • Allows your body to make the changes from the inside out

On rare occasions, if clinically appropriate and with your consent, we may incorporate a more traditional structural adjustment. You are always in control, and we will talk through any options beforehand.

NO. Many of our practice members start care because they:

  • Want to prevent problems before they become bigger issues
  • Are looking to optimize performance, sleep, and stress resilience
  • Care about their long-term health and their family’s well-being

Pain is just one signal. Our primary goal is to help your nervous system function better so you can live life with more energy, ease, and adaptability

Nasal Release Technique

Nasal Release Technique is known by several names, including Cranial Facial Release and Endonasal Technique.

The process as typically pain-free with mild pressure and notes some people experience clicks and pops during the release.

This depends on your history, symptoms, and how your body responds. Recommendations are individualized after your consultation.  Clients usually see improvement in 4-6 sessions.

No, this technique can address TMJ, headaches, breathing concerns, balance issues and fatigue patterns.

TMJ Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic care may help support TMJ symptoms by improving jaw and neck mechanics, reducing muscle tension, and addressing movement restrictions. At IYCS, Dr. Codi uses a personalized approach that may include direct TMJ adjusting and muscle work when appropriate.

Yes – when appropriate, Dr. Codi may use gentle, targeted TMJ adjusting along with muscle work to support jaw function and reduce tension.

It can. Many people with TMJ dysfunction also experience tension headaches, migraines, ear pressure, or facial tension, especially when clenching or grinding is involved.

Yes. Clenching and grinding (bruxism) are common contributors to TMJ irritation and jaw muscle tension.

Not usually. TMJ symptoms are often connected to the neck, posture, and muscle tension patterns, so Dr. Codi typically evaluates the bigger picture.

No referral is typically needed to request a consultation at IYCS.

It depends on your symptoms, how long they’ve been present, and what’s contributing to the issue. Dr. Codi will discuss recommendations after your consultation.

New Practice Member Experience

Our New Practice Member Experience is a comprehensive first visit designed to understand you as a whole human, not just a spine. It typically includes:

  • A detailed consultation and health history
  • Neurological and postural assessment (including CLA Insight scans: thermography, surface electromyography and hear rate variability)
  • Chiropractic examination
  • Initial NetworkSpinal session/adjustment
  • Time to ask questions and share your goals

At your second visit, we review your findings, go over your scan results, and present a customized care plan and payment options.

Note: Fees and services may change over time. For current pricing, please check our website or call the office.

In most cases, YES, as long as it is clinically appropriate and safe to do so. If we ever need more information (such as imaging or clearance), we’ll explain why and what to expect.

Your frequency is based on:

  • Your current health status and goals
  • How long patterns have been present
  • How your body responds to care

Many people begin with a more focused 12-week immersion plan (often 2 times per week), and then shift into 6 or 12-month wellness plan at a lower frequency as their nervous system stabilizes. We’ll review your plan with you and adjust as needed over time.

  • New Practice Member Experience 1st Visit: plan for about 60 minutes
  • New Practice Member Experience 2nd Visit: plan for about 45 minutes
  • Regular NetworkSpinal visits: usually 15 minutes of focused, hands-on time

We do our best to honor your time while giving your body the space it needs to process.

Pregnancy, Postpartum & Pediatric Care

YES, chiropractic care, especially gentle techniques like NetworkSpinal are considered safe and beneficial during pregnancy when provided by a trained practitioner.

At IYCS we:

  • Use pregnancy-specific positioning and techniques
  • Support pelvic balance, nervous system regulation, and comfort
  • Help your body adapt to postural changes, stress, and sleep challenges

Many pregnant practice members report less discomfort, better sleep, improved mobility, and a calmer overall experience leading up to birth.

YES, we love caring for babies, toddlers, kids, and teens.

Pediatric visits look very different from adult visits:

  • Touch is incredibly light, often just fingertip pressure
  • Sessions are playful, age-appropriate, and often done while a child is on a parent’s lap or playing
  • We focus on nervous system regulation to support things like latch, colic, digestion, sleep, focus, and resilience

We also spend time educating parents so you feel empowered and confident about your child’s care.

YES. NetworkSpinal is a low-force, gentle approach that makes it an excellent option for:

  • Older adults
  • People with osteoporosis or low bone density
  • Individuals who are uncomfortable with traditional “cracking” techniques

We always tailor care to your unique health history and work collaboratively with your other providers when needed.

  • Focus on what’s clinically best for you rather than what insurance will or won’t cover
  • Be transparent and up-front with fees
  • Keep care accessible for people who might otherwise be limited by restrictive plans

Upon request, we can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Safety, Results & Expectations

When performed by a licensed chiropractor, chiropractic care is considered very safe. At IYCS we:

  • Use gentle, low-force techniques
  • Thoroughly review your health history and perform an exam before adjusting
  • Modify techniques for pregnancy, pediatrics, older adults, and specific health conditions

As with any healthcare service, there are risks and benefits that we will discuss with you before beginning care.

Everyone’s timeline is different. Some people notice changes after the first few visits, while others see shifts more gradually over several weeks or months.

Improvements may show up as:

  • Better sleep and more energy
  • Clearer thinking and less reactivity to stress
  • Improved digestion or fewer headaches
  • Less pain and more freedom of movement

Our aim is not just a “quick fix,” but deep, sustainable change in how your body and nervous system function.

Many practice members seek care at Innately Yours because they feel:

  • Overwhelmed or burned out
  • Chronically “on edge”
  • Disconnected from their body

By working directly with the nervous system, NetworkSpinal can help your body:

  • Shift out of chronic fight-or-flight
  • Find new strategies for processing stress
  • Build resilience and adaptability

While we do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions, many people report feeling calmer, more grounded, and more themselves as care progresses.
